As part of the insolvency proceedings of various Signa project companies, we commissioned BBE and IPH to provide an expert assessment of the sustainable rent for various department stores of the tenants GKK and KaDeWe. This assessment served as an indispensable basis for the negotiations. The unique combination of industry and location experts from BBE and property experts from IPH enabled a well-founded assessment to be made, taking into account the different sources of revenue from the department stores' business model. Such a comprehensive analysis and precise assessment is only possible because BBE and IPH have an immense understanding of the market and at the same time operate very deeply in the retail sectors. The result was extremely valuable for us in order to conduct well-founded negotiations with the tenant and contributed significantly to the positive progress of the process.
